Some lecture pages show a muted line under the title that begins “Site heading”. That heading was written by this site, not by Rudolf Steiner, his editors or his translators: in March 2026 an automated pass composed a short descriptive heading for each of about 1,700 English lectures from a summary of the lecture, to make the lectures easier to scan. It is not in the edition. The title above it is the edition’s own (the lecture title of the English book, or the edition’s heading such as “Lecture II”), and the lecture should be cited by that title and its date, never by the site heading. The search service returns the same line as the field site_heading, null where the site wrote none.
