    "text": "## Chapter XCIV\n\n\nXCIV. 1-5. *Admonitions to the Righteous*.\n\n#### CHAPTER XCIV.\n\n1. And now I say unto you, my sons, love righteousness and walk therein;\n\nFor the paths of righteousness are worthy of acceptation,\n\nBut the paths of unrighteousness shall suddenly be destroyed and vanish.\n\n2. And to certain men of a generation shall the paths of violence and of death be revealed,\n\nAnd they shall hold themselves afar from them,\n\nAnd shall not follow them. p. 135\n\n3. And now I say unto you the righteous:\n\nWalk not in the paths of wickedness, nor in the paths of death,\n\nAnd draw not nigh to them, lest ye be destroyed.\n\n4. But seek and choose for yourselves righteousness and an elect life,\n\nAnd walk in the paths of peace,\n\nAnd ye shall live and prosper.\n\n5. And hold fast my words in the thoughts of your hearts,\n\nAnd suffer them not to be effaced from your hearts;\n\nFor I know that sinners will tempt men to **evilly-entreat** wisdom,\n\nSo that no place may be found for her,\n\nAnd no manner of temptation may minish.\n\nXCIV. 6-11. *Woes for the Sinners*.\n\n6. Woe to those who build unrighteousness and oppression\n\nAnd lay deceit as a foundation;\n\nFor they shall be suddenly overthrown,\n\nAnd they shall have no peace.\n\n7. Woe to those who build their houses with sin;\n\nFor from all their foundations shall they be overthrown,\n\nAnd by the sword shall they fall.\n\n[And those who acquire gold and silver in judgement suddenly shall perish.]\n\n8. Woe to you, ye rich, for ye have trusted in your riches,\n\nAnd from your riches shall ye depart,\n\nBecause ye have not remembered the Most High in the days of your riches.\n\n9. Ye have committed blasphemy and unrighteousness,\n\nAnd have become ready for the day of slaughter, p. 136\n\nAnd the day of darkness and the day of the great judgement.\n\n10. Thus I speak and declare unto you:\n\nHe who hath created you will overthrow you,\n\nAnd for your fall there shall be no compassion,\n\nAnd your Creator will rejoice at your destruction.\n\n11. And your righteous ones in those days shall be\n\nA reproach to the sinners and the godless.",
