The History of the Esoteric School 1904–1914, Volume One

GA 264 — Cologne

To Sophie Stinde in Munich

Cologne, June 10, 1908

My dear Miss Stinde!

According to our established program, E.S. remains on Sunday mornings and Loge on Sunday evenings. Now I would like to add a philosophical lecture on Sunday at around 5 p.m. for the listeners from before at the philosophical lecture and for those whom you consider suitable. But it should all be arranged according to your discretion. This time, Stockmeyers are to be admitted into F.M.1 It will probably not work to have a short preliminary celebration on Monday for the F.M.. Stockmeyer urgently wants to be admitted just in time for his 50th birthday. Of course, he cannot be admitted until Tuesday, the day after his birthday. However, we could hold a special preliminary celebration on Monday, just before his admission, without the lodge trappings. But if it means too much trouble for you, then Stockmeyer can wait until Tuesday. I would also like to hold a session for advanced esoteric students during the course of Monday.

Warmest regards to you and the Countess

Yours

Dr. Rudolf Steiner

I will be able to arrive at the earliest on Saturday evening from Eisenach, where the lodge is to be opened.

  1. F.M. = Freemasonry, or the section of the Esoteric School of Rudolf Steiner that is cult of knowledge, see GA 265.
