You are now symbolically sitting in hell. This is a sign that the forces of suffering, pain and evil, as well as those of the ideal, joy and good, enter into life. Whoever enters the occult path must realize that he must face these forces of hell just as impartially as the forces of heaven. Only those who can choose evil can strive freely for good. That you make it clear to yourselves that your path also leads over the forces of hell - [for this] is this symbolic sitting in hell.
