Man's Purpose Between the Gods and Masters

GA 266I — 15 October 1905, Berlin

Esoteric Lesson

Reference to the Masters. Master Morya refers to the saying: Man, remember that everything around you is there for your sake, and that you are there for the gods.

The saying can also be phrased as follows: Everything is for my sake, and I am for God's sake.

The sacred syllable also contains the meaning of my individuality [in relation] to that of the Masters – and from there to that of the Sun Pitris, who stand at the head of our school.
