Doubts as to whether Kuthumi visited European universities. Necessity of learning European concepts. Same necessity of learning Chinese in order to communicate with the Chinese. The rhythm of life is an occult law. The Spirit of God hovers over the waters. The beginning of chaos. Transformation of chaos into rhythm. The work of the Dhyan Chohans. The human body is given to us, higher bodies are still chaotic. It is our own work to allow them to flow into the great world rhythm, to integrate them completely by erasing and annulling the personal. Three great rhythms in the universe. The outpouring of divine forces – bringing these chaotic, turbulent forces into rhythm and form – and their return to the primordial divine, which causes the dissolution of form and is the work of human beings themselves. One of the symbols: the auM. The outflow of the divine: A; the brief (?) stay in matter: U; and the individualized return flow into the divine: the long-ringing M.

Legend and mysticism have always pointed to this development of life. Man finds power only in the extinction of the personal and in devotion to the great rhythm of the universe. All natural life proceeds rhythmically: the recurring life in the plant world, the mating season of animals, the functions of the human physical body, which was made and given to him by the great creators of forms. The perfection of the human body, hip bone and socket. - The astral and mental forces of the human being are still chaotic; it must be his own work to harmonize them and bring them into absolute harmony with the universal rhythm. The necessity of developing a special existence so that the human being, as an “I,” can reintegrate himself into the whole with clear self-awareness. The still chaotic astral body is only a part of the great world astral body from which the stars have come into being. Just as their completion was and is accomplished through rhythm, so too is human completion, in that man learns to give himself completely and fully to this universe. Christ's words: “Whoever loses his life will find it.”

The Persian occult school had seven initiations [degrees of initiation]:

1. the raven, still connected to the outside world, the scout (ravens of Wotan, Elijah, Barbarossa);
2. the occult;
3. the warrior;
4. the lion;
5. the Persian [the true representative of his people; Manas];
6. the sun hero (the end of special existence through entering into the universal rhythm, the Buddhi (Christ);
7. the father (Atma).
