O Spirit of God, fill me,
Fill me in my soul;
Give strength to my soul,
Strength also to my heart,
My heart that seeks you,
Seeks through deep longing,
Deep longing for health
For health and fortitude
Fortitude that I may become useful
Useful for life.

Divine Spirit within me
Within me, searching for inner peace
Inner peace that lives in all my limbs
All my limbs that make up my body
My body that is enlivened by my soul
My soul that is illuminated by my spirit
My spirit that is filled with the Divine Spirit.

O Spirit of God, fill me
Fill me in my soul;
Lend my soul strong power,
Strong power also to my heart
My heart that seeks you,
Seeks through deep longing
Deep longing for health
For health and fortitude
Fortitude that flows into my limbs
Flows like a precious gift from God
A gift from you, O Spirit of God
O Spirit of God, fill me.

I think of my heart
It enlivens me
It warms me
I trust firmly
In the eternal self
That works within me
That carries me. —

The power of warmth within me
I feel the power of warmth
That permeates me
Permeates from my head through my heart
Through my whole body

I feel warmed through.

Courage flows from the heart
To places of pain
And soothes suffering with warmth.

Think of the left foot

My self carries me

Thinking about the right foot

My self holds me

Thinking about the left hand

My self protects itself

Thinking about the right hand

My self defends itself

Carrying power
Holding power
Protection and defense
I gather four
into one
in my heart.

Now you must speak:

I want to be strong
I want to be strong in my hands
I want to be strong in my heart
May God help me
That I may be strong
I pray to God
That he may strengthen my hand
I pray to God
That he may strengthen my heart
Then I will be strong.

For Louis Olivier

Now I lie down to rest
I am at peace
I hear myself
In peace I hear myself
In great peace I hear myself
I remain at peace

My peace is over
I begin again
to move.

Meditation with the Rosicrucians

I.

The cross, as if emerging from burning wood. Then the seven roses detach themselves from it, gradually becoming brightly luminous.

1st rose shining: left half of the head
Let your warmth warm me

2nd rose shining: right half of the head
Let your light shine through me

3rd rose shining: left hand
Let your activity flow through me —

4th rose shining: right hand
Let your peace flood through me

  1. Rose shining: left foot
    Your ray strengthens me

  2. Rose shining: right foot
    Your lift penetrates me

  3. Rose shining: above
I am in your sphere. u

II.

Flow powerfully through me,
flow vigorously,
flowing from bottom to top,
strengthening yourself above in spirit,
strengthening yourself through the source of life,
The source of life that descended,
Descended from the sun
Through me.

In the morning:

I am from the insensitive
Moved into the tangible.
I lived in spirit,
When I slept without feeling.
I live in meaning,
When I wake with feeling.
I shall call divine
The intangible as well as the tangible.
In God I am awake,
Even when I sleep
In God,
From whom I come,
To whom I go.

In the evening:

To God
I go,
From whom I come.
In him I sleep,
In him I am awake. The tangible and the intangible
I shall call divine.
I live in the senses
When I am awake and feeling.
I live in the spirit
When I sleep and feel nothing.
Through sleep
I enter into the intangible.
It is the intangible
in the spirit.
I will be asleep
in the spirit.

In mortal danger

Spirit of my life, protective companion,
Be the goodness of my heart in my will,
Be the love of humanity in my feelings,
Be the light of truth in my thoughts.
