The Origin and Development of Eurythmy 1920–1922

GA 277c — 15 November 1920, Dornach

13. Announcement of a Eurythmy Course

For a Eurythmy Course that Annemarie Groh was to teach in Berlin and that was officially announced by Marie Steiner, Rudolf Steiner wrote the following text:

The eurythmic art, which is cultivated on the spiritual foundations of the anthroposophical movement, has experienced significant progress in recent times through the work in Dornach. Through indications from Dr. Steiner and through performances that are based on his intentions, the scope and depth of this art have increased in many ways. This justifies events to spread knowledge about it. Such events are now to take place in Berlin at Potsdamerstrasse 39a, in the local branch of the Anthroposophical Society, in the form of courses. These will introduce the eurythmic art over a period of four weeks, beginning on November 29th. They will be led by Annemarie Groh, who worked in Dornach for a long time. Participants can be all personalities who, out of a serious interest in the eurythmic art and a sufficient talent, are looking for a targeted education. The work will take up most of the day. Lessons, group exercises and private training will serve the purpose.

The fee for all course events will be 200 marks. Private lessons, which can be taken by special arrangement, will also be subject to a special fee. Written applications should be sent to Mrs. Ilse Rosenberg - Berlin-Wilmersdorf Barstr. 30. Naturally, the number of participants is limited. Information can also be obtained from Mrs. Rosenberg.
