The Origin and Development of Eurythmy 1920–1922

GA 277c — 8 October 1922, Stuttgart

Eurythmy Program

The Goetheanum stage group undertook a long tour from October 8 to December 9, 2022. There were performances in Stuttgart on October 8, 11, 13, 15, 18, 20, 22, and 25 October, a performance in Cologne on 29 October and 26 November, two performances in The Hague on 2 and 5 November and in London on 11, 13, and 15 November, in Düsseldorf on 24 November, in Berlin on 28 29 November, and on 1, 3, 5 and 6 December, and finally in Hamburg on 9 December 1922. Rudolf Steiner was not present at all performances, as he had to be in Dornach and Stuttgart in between; only the speeches in The Hague on 2 and 5 November 1922 are available from the entire trip. It is known that he gave speeches in Stuttgart on October 8, 11, and 13, as well as in Berlin on December 6, 1922; it is very likely that he also gave speeches at the performances in Stuttgart on October 15 and in London on November 11, 13, and 15. In Cologne, Walter Johannes Stein gave the introduction on October 29, and in Hamburg on December 9, 1922, Jan Stuten gave the introduction.
