The Origin and Development of Eurythmy 1923–1925

Eurythmy Performance

On December 3, 1923, there was a performance by the students of the Berlin Eurythmy School, which had probably been rehearsed beforehand with Marie Steiner, who was present at the performance.

The eurythmy performance was quite nice, as were some of the things that followed.
—From a letter from Marie Steiner to Rudolf Steiner, Berlin, December 3, 1923 Only things that have power behind them will have a real effect. This is the case when, as in the speech courses, eurythmy, and other subjects, something real is given. That is why I am so pleased that you have had such great success with the speech course and that you have managed to organize a eurythmy performance so quickly.
—From a letter from Rudolf Steiner to Marie Steiner, Dornach, December 6, 1923
