It was so wonderful when the telegram from Berlin arrived reporting that the performance had gone well. Since then, however, I have heard nothing about the aftermath of this performance. For example, I have heard nothing about whether those who serve up everything, even things they know nothing about, in printed judgments “to the public” have made themselves heard or not.
