83. “Huxley Lecture” by Virchow in London

On October 3, Virchow gave the Huxley Lecture in London at the opening of the winter semester of the Charing Ross Hospital Medical School. He characterized Huxley as the man who drew the consequences of Darwin's teachings as a bold thinker and made their points of view fruitful for wide areas of research.
