95. Notification and Corrigendum

Weimar. The books and manuscripts of the mentally ill philosopher Friedrich W. Nietzsche have recently been moved from Naumburg to Weimar, where his sister, Dr. Elisabeth Förster, in collaboration with Dr. Koegel and Steiner, is now making preparations for a complete edition of all her brother's works. These books would later be incorporated into the Goethe-Schiller Archive.

We receive the following corrective letter:

Dear editors!

Following the report in your esteemed journal of 17 September 1896 that the "Nietzsche Archive" has moved from Naumburg to Weimar, it is reported that Dr. Elisabeth Förster-Nietzsche, Nietzsche's sister, in association with Dr. Fritz Koegel and myself, is responsible for the publication of her brother's works. The mention of my name in this context is based on an error. I have no part in the publication of Nietzsche's works.

Weimar, September 1896, Dr. Rudolf Steiner
