61. The Sign and Evolution of the Three Logoi in Humanity

The constitution of the world goes back to the trinity. In the human evolutionary system, from the first disposition to become human to the full development of this disposition, we can distinguish three states of consciousness as the first trinity.

The first of these states of consciousness is a more or less dull (somnolent) state of consciousness because the “I” has not yet been born. At this stage, the human being is still a member of a superordinate “I”; he is clairvoyant, but he cannot regard the contents of his clairvoyance as his own.

The second state of consciousness is brought about by the birth of the 'I'. This higher state is brought about by the loss of clairvoyance. The vision of an external world begins.

The third state of consciousness is brought about by the reappearance of clairvoyance in the 'I', so that the person becomes a self-aware clairvoyant.

In occult writing, the first state of consciousness is indicated by ☉, i.e., consciousness radiates from the Absolute = , flooding the world (circle).

Now, each of these three states of consciousness has three sub-levels; thus:

First level of consciousness:
1. Sub-level I
2. Sub-level II
3. Sub-level III

Second level of consciousness:
1. Sublevel IV
2. Sublevel V
3. Sublevel VI

Third level of consciousness:
1. Sublevel VII
2. Sublevel VIII
3. Sublevel IX

The first level of consciousness is entirely subjective. That is, the person perceives nothing from the outside, but only what the deity implants in him. This level of consciousness works its way through the above three sub-levels of the first epoch, hence the sign:

The third level of consciousness is completely objective. That is, the person will perceive the whole world as divine:

The middle level therefore has the sign

But now the first level of consciousness merges continuously into the second; likewise the second into the third; as a result, the corresponding sub-levels III and IV and VI and VII interlock, so that the following picture emerges:

Thus the number nine gives rise to the number seven.

These seven levels of consciousness are now completed:

1 on Saturn
2 on the Sun
3 on the Moon
4 on Earth
5 on Jupiter
6 on Venus
7* on Vulcan.

At present, man is in 4. We can see that this was preceded by 3, which was formed from two sub-stages, and will be followed by 5*, which will in turn be formed from two sub-stages. If we denote pure lunar consciousness as III and pure terrestrial consciousness as V, then there is something between the two that can be described as Martian consciousness. This stems from the fact that before the earth broke away from the moon and the sun, it had an encounter with Mars. An identical encounter takes place with Mercury; VL is Mercury consciousness.

Now take the sum of the stages of consciousness that man has gone through so far. There are five up to the earth consciousness. Hence the sign:

It is a closed one because man would harden himself without the addition of Mercury consciousness. Without entrusting himself to the divine guide (Mercury) at this level, he would reach a dead end in his development.

Now, each of these (7) states of consciousness has seven life stages to go through. That makes

These are (7 \times 7) life stages throughout the entire human evolution: (7 \times 7 = 49)

Now, however, we have to imagine the situation in such a way that during the first states of consciousness, what is the human germ cannot yet unfold its own life. It is still the life left over from earlier evolutions, which is slowly draining away and being replaced by purely human life. This is in the sense of the following image:

There is thus a point in human evolution when, within the entire planetary system, the life of this system takes the place of everything from an earlier system. This point in history is the appearance of

Christ.

In this respect, it marks the middle of human evolution.

The states of life now again take the form of states of form; each of the 49 states of life has to go through seven states of form, which for the whole evolution

(49 \times 7 = 343) steps (= 7 \times 7 \times 7). But even the form states are not the intrinsic human ones from the beginning. They are the ones brought over from an earlier system. Everything that relates to such form states originating from an earlier system is referred to

as macrocosm.

The form states that man creates himself form the microcosm. One can only speak of a microcosm when the human spirit becomes form-creating, as the divine spirit (world spirit) was form-creating before.

The transition is the world soul - the divine spirit that is slowly individualizing.

In Christian esotericism, one refers to

Theosophy names:

A first Logos
B second Logos
C. Third Logos

This gives us the following overview of evolution, considering that

the 1st Logos reveals itself in man as Atma
the 2nd Logos reveals itself in man as Budhi
the 3rd Logos reveals itself in man as Manas.

When of these (343 = 7 \times 7 \times 7) stages (666 = 6 \times 6 \times 6 = 216) have been passed, so after (5) planets (Saturn, Sun, Moon, Earth, Jupiter) in Venus, when again 5 life states have passed in Venus, so in the (6). life state of Venus and in the (6). form state of this 6th life state, then everything will be eliminated from the Earth's evolution that cannot reach perfection; the number (666 = 216) is therefore the critical number of evolution (apocalypse).

But a critical state also occurs (albeit to a lesser extent than at the times indicated) when the evolutionary ratio is (666), for example in the (6th) sub-race of the (6th) root race of the (6th) planet, counting Mars and Mercury, thus creating the following cycle:

1. Saturn
2. Sun
3. Moon
4. Mars
5. Earth
6. Mercury – this influence is then already a major one in the next 6th sub-race.

Humanity will then have already reached a critical point in its development.
