Das Schlaferlebnis besteht darin, daß wir mit unserer geistig-seelischen Menschlichkeit außerhalb unseres physischen und Ätherleibes sind, nur daß während des Schlaferlebnisses unser Bewußtsein herabgestimmt ist, und wir nichts wissen von dem, was eigentlich mit uns und um uns vorgeht. Man kann also sagen, daß es noch ein anderes Verhältnis des Menschen zu seinem physischen Leibe gibt als dasjenige, woran wir gewohnt sind.
