You have now to realise that those Cherubim, who were active, in the periphery of the Sun, were also already present in the periphery of ancient Saturn. Only they were not as yet called on to play their part — to put it trivially, they had not yet reached the stage when they could undertake something important, but they were present in the environment of Saturn. Still other Beings were around ancient Saturn, Beings of a degree still higher and still more sublime than the Cherubim, namely, the Seraphim, (Spirits of Love). The Thrones also came from the same region. But the Thrones, who are one grade lower than the Cherubim, let their substance flow downwards to form the warmth-substance of Saturn, as we have already shown. Thus we can imagine Saturn as a giant globe of warmth, surrounded by circles of spiritual Beings who are of a supremely high, sublime nature. Christian Esotericism calls them Thrones, Cherubim, Seraphim. They are the Dhyanic Beings of the Eastern Teaching.","text_trust":"verbatim","quote_safe":true,"title":"Lecture V","site_heading":"Cosmic Evolution Through Spiritual Hierarchies and Planetary Formation","site_heading_note":"A heading the site wrote for this unit from a summary of it; not in the edition, and not the words of Rudolf Steiner or of the translator. Es sind die dhyanischen Wesenheiten der östlichen Lehre.","text_trust":"verbatim","quote_safe":true,"word_count":191,"url":"https://anthroposophy.ai/v1/steiner/de/ga/110/1909-04-14/p005"}],"english":["GA 110/1909-04-14/p005"],"method":"length","confidence":"high","correspondence":"established","length_check":{"de_words":191,"en_words":198,"ratio":1.04,"partial":false},"pairing_state":"proposed","verified":false},"witness_completeness":{"ratio":1.06,"band":"comparable","note":null,"word_count":4614,"original_word_count":4361,"may_be_abridged":false},"witness_quality":{"translator":{"scope":"unit","status":"not_established","translator":null,"identified_edition":"APC1928","book_title":"The Spiritual Hierarchies (1928)","publisher":"Anthroposophical Publishing Co.","publisher_inferred":true,"match_score":1.0,"source_url":"https://www.rsarchive.org/Lectures/GA110/English/APC1928/19090414p01.html","evidence":null,"reason":"no_translator_named","note":"Neither the lecture's own page nor rsarchive's lecture list names a translator for it.
