As a result, around the period from 1930 to 1940, a number of people who will be the first pioneers of this ethereal clairvoyance will see what the Christ is in this our time. Christ only lived on our Earth once in a physical body. However, our Earth has changed since that time. If someone became clairvoyant in the time before Christ's birth and looked into the world of spiritual beings and phenomena that directly surround our Earth, they did not find anything that they found after the event of Golgotha had taken place, when the Christ descended to Earth. One personality knew this exactly. There was a personality who knew from his teaching: When people become clairvoyant, they see something not yet on earth, but which will be in the spiritual atmosphere of the earth in the future, once the Christ has descended from the sun. This personality said to himself: We will experience on earth the great moment when the Christ will appear spiritually to people who are becoming clairvoyant, because he will then have descended to earth and will also be spiritually visible in its atmosphere. This personality knew this, but he had not yet reached the point where he could gain the faith from the events in Palestine that this expected being, the Christ, had already existed in Jesus of Nazareth. He could not recognize the Christ Jesus, he did not recognize him. But in our time a materialism of most terrible kind lives, and it can happen that even those who hear and receive these teachings are tempted by the materialistic attitude and seduced by the materialistic attitude to the belief that Christ only appears again when he appears in a fleshly body. Das hat dann zur Folge, daß ungefähr in jenem Zeitraum von 1930 bis 1940 eine Anzahl von Menschen, die die ersten Pioniere sein werden dieses ätherischen Hellsehens, dasjenige sehen werden, was der Christus in dieser unserer Zeit ist. In einem physischen Leibe hat der Christus nur einmal gelebt auf unserer Erde. Seit jener Zeit aber hat sich unsere Erde verändert. Wenn jemand in der Zeit vor Christi Geburt hellsehend geworden ist und er hineingeschaut hat in die Welt der geistigen Wesenheiten und Erscheinungen, die unsere Erde unmittelbar umgeben, da hat er etwas nicht gefunden, was er dann fand, als das Ereignis von Golgatha sich vollzogen hatte, da der Christus auf die Erde heruntergestiegen war. Eine Persönlichkeit hat das genau gewußt. Es gab eine Persönlichkeit, die wußte aus ihrer Lehre heraus: Wenn die Menschen hellsehend werden, dann sehen sie etwas noch nicht auf der Erde, was aber in der Zukunft in der geistigen Atmosphäre der Erde sein wird, wenn einmal der Christus von der Sonne heruntergestiegen sein wird. — Diese Persönlichkeit sagte sich: Wir werden auf der Erde erleben den großen Zeitpunkt, wo dem hellsehend werdenden Menschen geistig erscheint der Christus, denn dieser wird dann heruntergestiegen sein auf die Erde und wird auch geistig in ihrer Atmosphäre sichtbar sein. — Das wußte diese Persönlichkeit, aber sie war noch nicht so weit, daß sie aus den Ereignissen von Palästina den Glauben gewinnen konnte, daß in dem Jesus von Nazareth dieses erwartete Wesen, der Christus, eben schon dagewesen sei. Er konnte den Christus Jesus nicht anerkennen, er anerkannte ihn nicht. Dann kam die Zeit, als das Ereignis von Golgatha schon längst vorbei war, in der diese Persönlichkeit hellsichtig wurde: Da sah sie den Christus im Ätherleib.
