The opinions of an individual are actually of little value. I always strive to let the facts speak for themselves, even in the field of spiritual science. That is why I do not want to present theories rooted in opinions today either, but let the facts speak. I would like to present a fact that allows us to see how, in the course of the 19th century, a lack of intellectual rigor developed. In a certain deeper way, however, thinking can penetrate if it draws conclusions that are truly sharp and truly given by its presuppositions. Theosophy often proves to be so spineless in the face of the objections that are made to it because its intellectual weapons have become blunt.","text_trust":"verbatim","quote_safe":true,"title":"VI. Die Theosophie erweist sich oft so mattherzig gegen die Einwände, die ihr gemacht werden, weil ihre denkerischen Waffen stumpf geworden sind.","text_trust":"verbatim","quote_safe":true,"word_count":131,"url":"https://anthroposophy.ai/v1/steiner/de/ga/125/1910-08-26/p007"}],"english":["GA 125/1910-08-26/p007"],"method":"identity","confidence":"high","correspondence":"established","length_check":{"de_words":131,"en_words":138,"ratio":1.05,"partial":false},"pairing_state":"verified","verified":true,"evidence":["length","meaning","audit"]},"witness_completeness":{"ratio":1.04,"band":"comparable","note":null,"word_count":7932,"original_word_count":7595,"may_be_abridged":false},"witness_quality":{"translator":{"scope":"unit","status":"recorded","translator":"Steiner Online Library","identified_edition":"SOL2024","book_title":"Paths and Goals of Spiritual Man","publisher":"Steiner Online Library","publisher_inferred":true,"match_score":1.0,"source_url":"https://www.rsarchive.org/Lectures/GA125/English/SOL2024/19100826p01.html","evidence":"lecture_page_line","publisher_note":"The publisher is inferred from the edition code in this lecture's source URL, not stated by the source page.
