This very question is an illusion, for the human being is through and through a product of the spiritual processes around him; and when certain occultists become aware of the reality of these processes, that is because they actually see them. But spiritual processes operate too in those others who do not see. Everything in the spiritual world is interconnected. Whatever influence may radiate from a highly developed Frenchman or Russian is felt not only on their own native soil, but their thought and influence has an effect over the whole earth. Everything that happens in the spiritual world has an influence on us, and only when we realise that the soul lives in the spiritual world just as the lung within the air, shall we have the right attitude.","text_trust":"verbatim","quote_safe":true,"title":"Intimate Workings of Karma","site_heading":null,"date":"1912-02-09","location":null,"word_count":140,"url":"https://anthroposophy.ai/v1/steiner/en/ga/130/1912-02-09/p020","alignment_confidence":"medium","alignment_reason":"beads:length","two_voice_volume":false,"translation_credit":{"scope":"unit","status":"established","translator":"Pauline Wehrle","identified_edition":"RSP1984","book_title":"Esoteric Christianity and the Mission of Christian Rosenkreutz","publisher":"Rudolf Steiner Press","publisher_inferred":true,"match_score":1.0,"source_url":"https://www.rsarchive.org/Lectures/GA130/English/RSP1984/19120209p02.html","evidence":"lecture_page_line","publisher_note":"The publisher is inferred from the edition code in this lecture's source URL, not stated by the source page.
