The spiritual world view was replaced by an understanding of the world based exclusively on sensory perception. Then the Christ impulse entered human history. Through this principle humanity was led once again to imbue the materialistic outlook with spirituality. At the moment when Giordano Bruno burst the confines of sensory appearance, the Christ-development had so far advanced in him that the soul force, which had been kindled by the Christ-impulse, could be active within him. This indicates the significance of Christ's involvement in human history and development, which is really still in its early stages.","text_trust":"verbatim","quote_safe":true,"title":"Lecture Three","site_heading":null,"date":null,"location":null,"word_count":115,"url":"https://anthroposophy.ai/v1/steiner/en/ga/15/l03/p048","alignment_confidence":"high","alignment_reason":"beads:length","two_voice_volume":false,"translation_credit":null,"edition_coverage":{"de":["original"],"en":["AP1992","ASGB1921"]},"available_versions":[{"lang":"en","edition":"AP1992","edition_basis":null,"is_original":false,"is_default_edition":true,"url":"https://anthroposophy.ai/v1/steiner/en/ga/15/l03/p048","paragraph_aligned":true}],"german_anchor":{"de_prefix":"l03","de_passages":[{"locus":"GA 15/l03/p033","url":"https://anthroposophy.ai/v1/steiner/de/ga/15/l03/p033"}],"bead_confidence":"high","pairing_state":"proposed","verified":false,"length_check":{"de_words":124,"en_words":115,"ratio":0.93,"partial":false},"correspondence":"established","note":"English passage numbering is edition-relative, so the same number need not name the same paragraph in the German. Durch diesen wird die Menschheit dazu geführt, der materialistischen Anschauung wieder das Geistige einzuprägen.
