It comes to us in two forms. We see the appearance of Sibylline activity in the seventh and eighth centuries B.C. in all the southern European countries. In this activity there lived that which showed that the I can develop. But the Sibylline element was connected with the elemental powers of the earth, which work in the subconscious of the soul and force their way out in a passionate way. The prophecy of the Jewish people is contrasted with this sibylline being. The prophets want to repress all sibylline nature in their souls and only listen to the revelation that opens up to the powers of the ego, which are conscious. Michelangelo depicts the prophets in contemplative absorption and, in contrast to them, the sibyls associated with the elemental forces of the earth, with wind, fire and air.","text_trust":"verbatim","quote_safe":true,"title":"I. In sinnender Versunkenheit stellt Michelangelo die Propheten dar und ihnen gegenüber die Sibyllen mit elementarischen Kräften der Erde, mit Wind, Feuer, Luft verbunden.","text_trust":"verbatim","quote_safe":true,"word_count":125,"url":"https://anthroposophy.ai/v1/steiner/de/ga/152/1914-03-05/p015"}],"english":["GA 152/1914-03-05/p015"],"method":"identity","confidence":"high","correspondence":"established","length_check":{"de_words":125,"en_words":149,"ratio":1.19,"partial":false},"pairing_state":"verified","verified":true,"evidence":["length","meaning","anchors","audit"]},"witness_completeness":{"ratio":1.12,"band":"comparable","note":null,"word_count":2840,"original_word_count":2531,"may_be_abridged":false},"witness_quality":{"translator":{"scope":"unit","status":"recorded","translator":"Steiner Online Library","identified_edition":"SOL2024","book_title":"Prelude to the Mystery of Golgotha","publisher":"Steiner Online Library","publisher_inferred":true,"match_score":1.0,"source_url":"https://www.rsarchive.org/Lectures/GA152/English/SOL2024/19140305.html","evidence":"lecture_page_line","publisher_note":"The publisher is inferred from the edition code in this lecture's source URL, not stated by the source page. A name the German carries is absent here (or a name appears here that the German does not carry). Two things cause this and they need telling apart: the translation really drops or reassigns what the original distinguishes, OR the paragraph alignment paired the wrong passages. `bead_confidence` does NOT settle which: this corpus's embedding aligner pairs topically-related paragraphs at full confidence, and a sampled high-confidence mismatch proved to be a wrong pairing.
