I have already spoken in many respects of the relationship between the large rotunda outside and the small one, of the relationship between what is in the large space of the building and what is in the small space inside. Now someone might ask: how do the forms of the small space emerge from those of the large space? The answer is: let someone try to let the forms of the large space of the building emerge through eurythmy, and the forms of the small space of the building will arise from them. If you try to imagine a person combining in their eurythmic movements everything that is expressed in the large rotunda and dancing it in the small room and radiating from there what they are dancing, then the twelve columns and the dome of the small room would arise from it by themselves.","text_trust":"verbatim","quote_safe":true,"title":"An Age of Expectation","site_heading":null,"date":"1914-10-07","location":null,"word_count":148,"url":"https://anthroposophy.ai/v1/steiner/en/ga/156/1914-10-07/p053","alignment_confidence":"high","alignment_reason":"beads:identity","two_voice_volume":false,"translation_credit":{"scope":"unit","status":"established","translator":"Steiner Online Library","identified_edition":"Singles","book_title":null,"publisher":null,"publisher_inferred":false,"match_score":1.0,"source_url":"https://www.rsarchive.org/Lectures/GA156/English/Singles/19141007p01.html","evidence":"lecture_page_line"},"edition_coverage":{"de":["original"],"en":["English"]},"available_versions":[{"lang":"de","edition":"original","edition_basis":null,"is_original":true,"is_default_edition":true,"url":"https://anthroposophy.ai/v1/steiner/de/ga/156/1914-10-07/p053"},{"lang":"en","edition":"English","edition_basis":null,"is_original":false,"is_default_edition":true,"url":"https://anthroposophy.ai/v1/steiner/en/ga/156/1914-10-07/p053","paragraph_aligned":true}],"record":{"record_type":"unknown","scope":"volume","note":"How this text was taken down (shorthand transcript, listeners' notes or manuscript) is not on record here.
