People who have the tendency to carry their nose high in an unsympathetic way, as one says, are seduced by such Luciferic spirits. There is a real background to this. It is truly a truth of physiognomy and the cosmos, and one is quite right when one says of someone who carries his nose up: Well, Lucifer is in his neck! That is absolutely true. Therefore, it is infinitely important for life to really know these cosmic relationships.","text_trust":"verbatim","quote_safe":true,"title":"Second Lecture","site_heading":"The Four Members and Cosmic-Astral Correspondences","site_heading_note":"A heading the site wrote for this unit from a summary of it; not in the edition, and not the words of Rudolf Steiner or of the translator.
