These elemental beings act from the outside in on the human etheric body, and thereby they receive the formative and educational forces, which then appear in the appearance and the activities of the physical body, right down to speech. For the elemental and etheric entities of the earth are of a very different nature, the etheric and elemental entities of water are of a very different nature, so that we can say: simply by the fact that any person lives as a physical being in the mountains or on the seashore, other entities have a greater influence on his etheric body. In the case of the person living on the seashore, the elemental entities that have their Maya expression in water have a much greater influence than in the case of the person living in the mountains.
