Spiritual science expresses this by saying that in every sphere of religion in the sixth epoch, complete freedom of thought and a longing for it will so lay hold of men that what a man likes to believe, what religious convictions he holds, will rest wholly within the power of his own individuality. Collective beliefs that exist in so many forms today among the various communities will no longer influence those who constitute the civilized portion of humanity in the sixth epoch of culture. Everyone will feel that complete freedom of thought in the domain of religion is a fundamental right of the human being.","text_trust":"verbatim","quote_safe":true,"title":"Preparing for the Sixth Epoch","site_heading":null,"date":"1915-06-15","location":null,"word_count":137,"url":"https://anthroposophy.ai/v1/steiner/en/ga/159/1915-06-15/p008","alignment_confidence":"medium","alignment_reason":"off_by_one_paragraph","two_voice_volume":false,"translation_credit":{"scope":"unit","status":"not_established","translator":null,"identified_edition":"Singles","book_title":"The Mystery of Death","publisher":null,"publisher_inferred":false,"match_score":1.0,"source_url":"https://www.rsarchive.org/Lectures/GA159/English/Singles/19150615p01.html","evidence":null,"reason":"no_translator_named","note":"Neither the lecture's own page nor rsarchive's lecture list names a translator for it.
