I would like to draw attention to one example: if we calculate the number of days in a human life, we arrive at the same number that the sun needs to pass through the entire Platonic year, the world year. Thus, human beings live a lifetime of as many days as the sun needs to advance through the entire circle of the world, from one sign of the zodiac to the next. When it has passed through all the signs of the zodiac, it has taken approximately 25,900 years. This is approximately how many days a human being lives – of course, this is not the same for everyone – in their individual life between birth and death.","text_trust":"verbatim","quote_safe":true,"title":"The Connection Between Humans and the Spiritual World","site_heading":null,"date":"1916-12-03","location":null,"word_count":161,"url":"https://anthroposophy.ai/v1/steiner/en/ga/168/1916-12-03/p024","alignment_confidence":"high","alignment_reason":"beads:identity","two_voice_volume":false,"translation_credit":{"scope":"unit","status":"established","translator":"Steiner Online Library","identified_edition":"SOL2024","book_title":"The Connection Between the Living and the Dead","publisher":"Steiner Online Library","publisher_inferred":true,"match_score":1.0,"source_url":"https://www.rsarchive.org/Lectures/GA168/English/SOL2024/19161203p01.html","evidence":"lecture_page_line","publisher_note":"The publisher is inferred from the edition code in this lecture's source URL, not stated by the source page.
