In fact, they move forward in the spiritual world as many times slower than Saturn moves around the Sun slower than the Earth. Saturn revolves around the sun as many times slower than the earth does, as human beings move more slowly in the spiritual world than here on the physical earth. For this reason — not because they knew less than today's astronomers — the ancients considered Saturn to be the outermost planet still belonging to the solar system. This is also astronomically correct, because the other planets that are now included, Uranus and Neptune, flew in later and joined the system, and they also orbit in a completely different order, even in a different rotation than the planets that belong to the actual solar system.","text_trust":"verbatim","quote_safe":true,"title":"The Connection Between Humans and the Spiritual World","site_heading":null,"date":"1916-12-03","location":null,"word_count":171,"url":"https://anthroposophy.ai/v1/steiner/en/ga/168/1916-12-03/p026","alignment_confidence":"high","alignment_reason":"beads:identity","two_voice_volume":false,"translation_credit":{"scope":"unit","status":"established","translator":"Steiner Online Library","identified_edition":"SOL2024","book_title":"The Connection Between the Living and the Dead","publisher":"Steiner Online Library","publisher_inferred":true,"match_score":1.0,"source_url":"https://www.rsarchive.org/Lectures/GA168/English/SOL2024/19161203p01.html","evidence":"lecture_page_line","publisher_note":"The publisher is inferred from the edition code in this lecture's source URL, not stated by the source page.
