What does present medicine know of the possibility of a liver or heart disease when it does not recognize the most important fact of all, that is, the actual purpose of these organs! And it does not know that. It does not even discover a correct connection between excitement hallucinations and the kidney system, nor of the quiet hallucinations, those which simply appear and are present as I have just explained, and are, so to say, liver hallucinations. Hallucinations which appear as though crawling on a human being so that the victim wants to brush them off come from the kidney system. These are the excitement hallucinations which have to do with the emotions and temperament. From such symptoms a much more exact diagnosis can be made than by the means in ordinary use today. And diagnoses based upon purely external evidence are very uncertain in comparison with what they would be were these things studied with the above-mentioned symptoms in mind.","text_trust":"verbatim","quote_safe":true,"title":"V. Und sehr unsicher sind rein äußerliche diagnostische Mittel gegenüber dem, was solche Diagnosen ergeben würden, wenn man diese Dinge studieren würde.","text_trust":"verbatim","quote_safe":true,"word_count":184,"url":"https://anthroposophy.ai/v1/steiner/de/ga/205/1921-07-02/p022"}],"english":["GA 205/1921-07-02/p035"],"method":"length","confidence":"high","correspondence":"established","length_check":{"de_words":184,"en_words":184,"ratio":1.0,"partial":false},"pairing_state":"proposed","verified":false},"witness_completeness":{"ratio":0.99,"band":"comparable","note":null,"word_count":6018,"original_word_count":6058,"may_be_abridged":false},"witness_quality":{"translator":{"scope":"unit","status":"recorded","translator":"May Laird-Brown","identified_edition":"AP1946","book_title":"Psychoanalysis in the Light of Anthroposophy","publisher":"Anthroposophic Press","publisher_inferred":true,"match_score":1.0,"source_url":"https://www.rsarchive.org/Lectures/Psych/English/AP1946/19210702p02.html","evidence":"lecture_list_row","note":"rsarchive's lecture list spells the credit 'Mary Laird-Brown'; the lecture pages of this edition print 'May Laird-Brown', which is served.","publisher_note":"The publisher is inferred from the edition code in this lecture's source URL, not stated by the source page.
