Record: listeners' notes. Written from listeners' notes, summaries, or memory rather than a shorthand transcript. The wording is the note-taker's as much as Steiner's: weigh a single striking phrase here far more cautiously than the same phrase in a stenographic volume, and do not rest an argument on one word. Evidence: «Nach Erinnerungsaufzeichnungen von Teilnehmenden» (From participants' records written from memory). Rudolf Steiner Verlag Gesamtverzeichnis 2022, volume subtitle. The translation is the maintainer's, not a published one.

The forces of the Christ-Sun have been active throughout the ages, most strongly around the time we call Christmas time. On the night of the winter solstice, those who were intensively engaged with these things could ascend to these forces, to union with the Christ. Since the event at Golgotha, it is also possible to do this by completely surrendering to the impression of this event. Then one has mystical moments when one can penetrate and the Christ comes to meet one in the night. It does not have to be Christmas Eve, but any of the nights around then.
