Record: listeners' notes. Written from listeners' notes, summaries, or memory rather than a shorthand transcript. The wording is the note-taker's as much as Steiner's: weigh a single striking phrase here far more cautiously than the same phrase in a stenographic volume, and do not rest an argument on one word. Evidence: «Gedächtnisaufzeichnungen von Teilnehmern sowie Notizen von Vorträgen» (Participants' records written from memory, and notes of lectures). The moon continued to condense, at least initially, into a liquid (“water”). In this liquid lunar mass, small particles formed in many places, which moved in continuous lively activity, as mercury now demonstrates. These particles were joined together by a sound coming from outside (the origin of which will be explained later) to form shapes similar to sound figures. First two joined together, then two joined to form four, and so on, as is still the case today with every new life form in plants, animals, and humans. This is the principle of the feminine. The feminine was more present than the masculine in the earlier physical forms of existence on Earth.
