We know that every illness has a spiritual cause in addition to its physical cause, which is to be found in immorality, passions, or other transgressions in this life, usually in a previous existence. Overcoming every illness releases forces, but this does not mean that one should prolong an illness as long as possible in order to make rapid progress. Rather, everyone must do their part to get well soon.
