Therefore, as you will see, we have arranged it so that only eurythmy is performed on stage. When singing or recitation occurs, it is performed by another person on the side. Nevertheless, the whole thing works together as a work of art. It is similar to what happens in music with an orchestra: here we are dealing with a kind of orchestra: on the one hand, the musical or recitative, declamatory elements, and on the other hand, the movement art of eurythmy, the visible language. This harmony, this orchestral shaping of an entire work of art, is particularly important in eurythmy.","text_trust":"verbatim","quote_safe":true,"title":"Eurythmy Performance","site_heading":null,"date":"1923-01-07","location":null,"word_count":119,"url":"https://anthroposophy.ai/v1/steiner/en/ga/277d/1923-01-07/p016","alignment_confidence":"medium","alignment_reason":"beads:structural_identity","two_voice_volume":false,"translation_credit":{"scope":"unit","status":"established","translator":"Steiner Online Library","identified_edition":"SOL2025","book_title":"The Origin and Development of Eurythmy 1923–1925","publisher":"Steiner Online Library","publisher_inferred":true,"match_score":1.0,"source_url":"https://www.rsarchive.org//Lectures/GA277d/English/SOL2025/19230107e01.html","evidence":"lecture_page_line","publisher_note":"The publisher is inferred from the edition code in this lecture's source URL, not stated by the source page.
