And today I would like to take the liberty of saying a few words about eurythmy from another perspective before the performance. It must be made absolutely clear that eurythmy is an attempt to create a visible language, a visible language through which what the human soul feels can be revealed in a more vivid, that is, more artistic and also in a certain plastic way – just as, on the other hand, this revelation can take place through sound and tone. To do this, it is necessary to have a truly spiritual scientific understanding of the process of language development and language formation as it is rooted in the human being.","text_trust":"verbatim","quote_safe":true,"title":"Eurythmy Performance","site_heading":null,"date":"1923-07-08","location":null,"word_count":130,"url":"https://anthroposophy.ai/v1/steiner/en/ga/277d/1923-07-08/p005","alignment_confidence":"medium","alignment_reason":"beads:identity","two_voice_volume":false,"translation_credit":{"scope":"unit","status":"established","translator":"Steiner Online Library","identified_edition":"SOL2025","book_title":"The Origin and Development of Eurythmy 1923–1925","publisher":"Steiner Online Library","publisher_inferred":true,"match_score":1.0,"source_url":"https://www.rsarchive.org/Lectures/GA277d/English/SOL2025/19230708e01.html","evidence":"lecture_page_line","publisher_note":"The publisher is inferred from the edition code in this lecture's source URL, not stated by the source page.
