Then there is simply the other, the will and also the mind, which enters into the arms and hands, I would say, as if expressed through another instrument, that which the poet has alive within himself when he creates poetically, artistically. So there is an orchestral interaction between what is recited and declaimed and what comes to light on stage in eurythmy. What the poet must conceal in his treatment of language, I would say, is revealed through what comes to light in eurythmy.","text_trust":"verbatim","quote_safe":true,"title":"Eurythmy Performance","site_heading":null,"date":"1923-07-29","location":null,"word_count":186,"url":"https://anthroposophy.ai/v1/steiner/en/ga/277d/1923-07-29/p015","alignment_confidence":"medium","alignment_reason":"beads:identity","two_voice_volume":false,"translation_credit":{"scope":"unit","status":"established","translator":"Steiner Online Library","identified_edition":"SOL2025","book_title":"The Origin and Development of Eurythmy 1923–1925","publisher":"Steiner Online Library","publisher_inferred":true,"match_score":1.0,"source_url":"https://www.rsarchive.org/Lectures/GA277d/English/SOL2025/19230729e01.html","evidence":"lecture_page_line","publisher_note":"The publisher is inferred from the edition code in this lecture's source URL, not stated by the source page.
