Just recently, I expanded on this idea a little further in a tone eurythmy course here. We have also recently been able to bring the lighting eurythmy and the entire stage design to a conclusion in a certain sense, so that what emerges in human movements continues to reveal itself in the movement of the lighting effects. As I said, we only recently made this expansion. And I would like to point out that—even if probably not by ourselves, but by others—eurythmy will be perfected more and more. This is because it makes use of the most perfect instrument, the human being, and also of art itself. It is precisely for these reasons that we can hope that more and more people will enjoy eurythmy – as they do other arts. And then eurythmy, alongside the other arts, will continue its course in the world.","text_trust":"verbatim","quote_safe":true,"title":"Eurythmy Performance","site_heading":null,"date":"1924-05-04","location":null,"word_count":157,"url":"https://anthroposophy.ai/v1/steiner/en/ga/277d/1924-05-04/p018","alignment_confidence":"medium","alignment_reason":"beads:identity","two_voice_volume":false,"translation_credit":{"scope":"unit","status":"established","translator":"Steiner Online Library","identified_edition":"SOL2025","book_title":"The Origin and Development of Eurythmy 1923–1925","publisher":"Steiner Online Library","publisher_inferred":true,"match_score":1.0,"source_url":"https://www.rsarchive.org/Lectures/GA277d/English/SOL2025/19240504e01.html","evidence":"lecture_page_line","publisher_note":"The publisher is inferred from the edition code in this lecture's source URL, not stated by the source page.
