Today there is the most widespread belief that the problems and tasks of the present can be resolved by the thoughts and impulses derived from knowledge based on the external world. How long it will take until a sufficiently large part of humanity will be convinced that real salvation is only attainable on the spiritual path, is extremely difficult to say, for the very reason that reflecting on this question is not fruitful. Wie lange es noch dauern kann, bis ein genügend großer Teil der Menschheit sich zu der Überzeugung durchringt, daß nur auf dem geistigen Wege ein wirkliches Heil zu erreichen ist, das ist heute eigentlich außerordentlich schwer zu sagen, schon aus dem Grunde, weil das Nachdenken gerade über diese Frage eigentlich nicht besonders fruchtbar ist.
