People today are in a very difficult position in that regard. In the Waldorf School, pure externalities have kept us from following the proper pedagogical perspective in this area. Today we are unable to use all of what spiritual science can provide for education in our teaching other than to apply the consequences of it in how we teach. One of the important aspects of spiritual science is that it contains certain artistic impulses that are absorbed by human beings so that they not only simply *know* things, but they can do things. To put it in a more extreme way, people therefore become more adept; they can better take up life and thus can also exercise the art of education in a better way.","text_trust":"verbatim","quote_safe":true,"title":"XI. Jahr hin reif wird, ebenso zusammenhängende Geographie.","text_trust":"verbatim","quote_safe":true,"word_count":172,"url":"https://anthroposophy.ai/v1/steiner/de/ga/301/1920-05-06/p027"}],"english":["GA 301/1920-05-06/p035"],"method":"length","confidence":"medium","correspondence":"established","length_check":{"de_words":172,"en_words":172,"ratio":1.0,"partial":false},"pairing_state":"proposed","verified":false},"witness_completeness":{"ratio":0.95,"band":"comparable","note":null,"word_count":5380,"original_word_count":5691,"may_be_abridged":false},"witness_quality":{"translator":{"scope":"unit","status":"recorded","translator":"Ruth Pusch and Gertrude Teutsch","identified_edition":"AP2001","book_title":"The Renewal of Education","publisher":"Anthroposophic Press","publisher_inferred":true,"match_score":1.0,"source_url":"https://www.rsarchive.org/Lectures/GA301/English/AP2001/19200506d01.html","evidence":"lecture_page_line","publisher_note":"The publisher is inferred from the edition code in this lecture's source URL, not stated by the source page.
