You will find it most possible to realize the remarkable connection between the etheric and astral bodies if you observe how sorrow and worries continue to work in a person. You should not observe the sorrows and worries merely of the last few days or weeks—these are actually the least significant—but those lying farther back. A certain period must elapse between the time when sorrows and worries overtake a person and the time when they have become organic, when they have passed over into the workings of the organism. Sorrows and worries that reach a certain intensity always appear later as anomalies in organic function, especially in the rhythmic activity of the organism. They work in the organism to the point of disturbing the rhythmic organism, making it irregular, and then they are able to work further on the metabolic organism and so on. This is a fundamental fact on which we must focus our attention.","text_trust":"verbatim","quote_safe":true,"word_count":177,"url":"https://anthroposophy.ai/v1/steiner/en/ga/313/1921-04-13/p013","german_anchor":{"de_prefix":"1921-04-13","de_passages":[{"locus":"GA 313/1921-04-13/p009","url":"https://anthroposophy.ai/v1/steiner/de/ga/313/1921-04-13/p009"}],"bead_confidence":"medium","length_check":{"de_words":653,"en_words":448,"ratio":0.69,"partial":true},"correspondence":"partial","note":"PARTIAL CORRESPONDENCE. Also, Nachwirkungen von Hunger und Durst in dieser Beziehung sind durchaus dasjenige, was nun den Störungen des Atmungs-Zirkulationsorganismus zugrunde liegt.","text_trust":"verbatim","quote_safe":true,"word_count":359,"url":"https://anthroposophy.ai/v1/steiner/de/ga/313/1921-04-13/p010"}],"beads":[{"from":[11,12,13],"to":[9],"confidence":"medium"},{"from":[14,15,16],"to":[10],"confidence":"medium"}],"note":"Paired by the paragraph aligner; each language numbers its own paragraphs.
