Price 7/6.] will be published that has been written by me in collaboration with Dr. Wegman, the Director of the Clinical and Therapeutic Institute at Arlesheim. This book will present what can be given from the spiritual-scientific standpoint, not as a contradiction of modern medicine but as an extension of it. People will then be able to convince themselves that it has nothing to do with the kind of superficiality which is so prevalent to-day. This book will show, in a way that will be justified by modern science, the fruitfulness that can enter into the art of healing by means of spiritual scientific investigation. Indem man aber so den menschlichen Organismus durchschaut, kommt man erst dadurch in die Lage, ihn im gesunden und kranken Zustande wirklich verstehen und dann die Brücke schlagen zu können von der Pathologie zur Therapie, vom Beobachten des Kranken zum Heilen. Wenn diese Dinge im Zusammenhange dargestellt werden, wird man schon sehen, wie das, was von einem solchen Gesichtspunkte aus gesagt werden kann, durchaus nicht im Widerspruche steht zu der modernen Medizin. Als ein erstes darüber wird — ich glaube in recht kurzer Zeit — das Buch erscheinen können, das von Frau Dr. Wegman, der Leiterin des Klinisch-Therapeutischen Instituts in Arlesheim, mit mir zusammen geschrieben, veröffentlicht werden wird, und das im Zusammenhange darstellen soll, was von einem solchen geisteswissenschaftlichen Gesichtspunkte aus — nicht im Widerspruche, sondern als Ergänzung der modernen Medizin — gesagt werden kann. Man wird sich dann überzeugen können, daß es sich nicht um irgendwelche Flunkereien handelt, wie sie heute an der Tagesordnung sind; sondern jenes Buch wird in einer Weise, die der modernen Wissenschaft durchaus gerecht wird, die Befruchtung zeigen, die durch die geisteswissenschaftliche Forschung für die Heilkunst eintreten kann.
