Paul Rée (1849–1901) was a German positivist philosopher, known widely as an editor of the writings of Friedrich Nietzsche. Rée met Nietzsche in 1876, as Rudolf Steiner relates in his *Friedrich Nietzsche, Fighter for Freedom*, p. 159–60.
