But I know many who belong to them, and I have been able to observe the wisdom they conceal in the deeds they perform in their lives toward their fellow human beings. I saw only good revealed in such deeds. Therefore, the hidden reasons always seemed good to me. And so I must tell myself that we should feel joy about the present moment. There must come a time in human progress when what has been carefully guarded in the narrowest circles becomes common property. It is up to us not to let this moment pass us by in foolish self-sufficiency. We should gratefully accept the hand offered to us by those who, through the world plan, have become guardians of knowledge.","text_trust":"verbatim","quote_safe":true,"title":"Related drafts for the first, second, and third scenes","site_heading":null,"date":null,"location":null,"word_count":153,"url":"https://anthroposophy.ai/v1/steiner/en/ga/44/05_02/p002","alignment_confidence":"high","alignment_reason":"beads:length","two_voice_volume":false,"translation_credit":{"scope":"unit","status":"established","translator":"Steiner Online Library","identified_edition":null,"book_title":null,"publisher":null,"publisher_inferred":false,"match_score":1.0,"source_url":"https://www.rsarchive.org/Articles/GA044/English/Dweller_05.html","evidence":"lecture_page_line"},"edition_coverage":{"de":["original"],"en":["English"]},"available_versions":[{"lang":"de","edition":"original","edition_basis":null,"is_original":true,"is_default_edition":true,"url":"https://anthroposophy.ai/v1/steiner/de/ga/44/05_02/p002"},{"lang":"en","edition":"English","edition_basis":null,"is_original":false,"is_default_edition":true,"url":"https://anthroposophy.ai/v1/steiner/en/ga/44/05_02/p002","paragraph_aligned":true}],"unit_kind":{"kind":"second_piece_same_name","base_unit":"GA 44/05","note":"Another piece with the same name as 05 in this volume; the suffix only separates the two."},"paired_german":{"status":"paired","german":[{"locus":"GA 44/05_02/p002","passage_number":2,"text":"3.
