Third Act, partly prose
THOMASIUS: O my image, which until now has only appeared to me to frighten me about myself. You are a being about whom I know very little, but I must always feel that it is you who acts within me. Thus you are an obstacle to my free existence, the reason why I cannot recognize what I am. And now you will speak for me before Lucifer, you will show me to him. And I will only recognize what I will do in the future by being able to see here what is going on between you and Lucifer.
