There is nothing in the sphere of experience of man on earth that can be compared with the exalted characteristics in which they appeared at that time. Finally, this Saturn being was aware of a third kind of fellow inhabitants. They populated the interior of the planet. This consisted only of a composition of human bodies, as far as they had developed at that time. If you want to get an idea of these bodies, you can do so by comparing them to automata made of the finest ethereal material during the times when they appeared in physical form. As such, they reflected the life of the Saturn beings; but they themselves were completely without life and without all sensation. But they were inhabited by two kinds of beings, which developed their life and their ability to feel within them. These needed a certain basis for this. For they lacked their own physical body, and yet they were so predisposed that they could only develop their higher abilities in one. Therefore, they used the human physical body.","text_trust":"verbatim","quote_safe":true,"title":"43. Sie bedienten sich deswegen des menschlichen physischen Leibes.","text_trust":"verbatim","quote_safe":true,"word_count":224,"url":"https://anthroposophy.ai/v1/steiner/de/ga/46/46-03-43/p048"}],"english":["GA 46/46-03-43/p048"],"method":"structural_identity","confidence":"medium","correspondence":"unverified","length_check":{"de_words":224,"en_words":232,"ratio":1.04,"partial":false},"pairing_state":"verified","verified":true,"evidence":["length","meaning","audit"]},"witness_completeness":{"ratio":1.09,"band":"comparable","note":null,"word_count":15368,"original_word_count":14043,"may_be_abridged":false},"witness_quality":{"translator":{"scope":"unit","status":"recorded","translator":"Steiner Online Library","identified_edition":"SOL2024","book_title":null,"publisher":"Steiner Online Library","publisher_inferred":true,"match_score":1.0,"source_url":"https://www.rsarchive.org/Articles/GA046/English/SOL2024/46-03-43.html","evidence":"lecture_page_line","publisher_note":"The publisher is inferred from the edition code in this lecture's source URL, not stated by the source page.
