Those who influence their thoughts in this way also influence their impulses of will, and these then have a healing effect. But they only do so when a truly healthy worldview, a healthy harmony of thoughts, fills our soul. This also regulates our feelings, and in connection with this, our likes and dislikes, our sympathies and antipathies, our desires and our aversions, so that we face the world in such a way that we know what to do in each individual case, like a child whose instincts are not yet corrupted. In this way, we will awaken within our soul those feelings, sensations, impulses of will, and desires that are a sure guide in life, instructing us what to do in order to bring about the right relationship between the outside world and ourselves.","text_trust":"verbatim","quote_safe":true,"title":"Questions Regarding Health in Light of Spiritual Science","site_heading":null,"date":"1909-01-14","location":null,"word_count":171,"url":"https://anthroposophy.ai/v1/steiner/en/ga/57/1909-01-14/p036","alignment_confidence":"medium","alignment_reason":"beads:structural_identity","two_voice_volume":false,"translation_credit":{"scope":"unit","status":"established","translator":"Steiner Online Library","identified_edition":"eLib2014","book_title":"Where and How Does One Find the Spirit?","publisher":null,"publisher_inferred":false,"match_score":1.0,"source_url":"https://www.rsarchive.org/Lectures/GA057/English/eLib2014/19090114p01.html","evidence":"lecture_page_line"},"edition_coverage":{"de":["original"],"en":["English"]},"available_versions":[{"lang":"de","edition":"original","edition_basis":null,"is_original":true,"is_default_edition":true,"url":"https://anthroposophy.ai/v1/steiner/de/ga/57/1909-01-14/p036"},{"lang":"en","edition":"English","edition_basis":null,"is_original":false,"is_default_edition":true,"url":"https://anthroposophy.ai/v1/steiner/en/ga/57/1909-01-14/p036","paragraph_aligned":true}],"record":{"record_type":"unknown","scope":"volume","note":"How this text was taken down (shorthand transcript, listeners' notes or manuscript) is not on record here.
