I have pointed out that true clairvoyant knowledge, in the genuine sense of the word, is based on the fact that at every moment the spiritual scientist must immerse himself in the processes and things he wants to know, and that what he wants to perceive and know immediately disappears if he does not immerse himself with his whole active soul. We passively surrender ourselves to an external color or an external sound; they have an effect on us. What we want to recognize in the spiritual world can only be recognized in activity. The moment we confront things and beings in the spiritual world with a passive soul, what we have recognized would disappear or turn into hallucinations or illusions, if it is still there. The soul must not rest for a moment in the spiritual realm.","text_trust":"verbatim","quote_safe":true,"title":"12. Keinen Augenblick darf die Seele auf dem geistigen Felde ruhen.","text_trust":"verbatim","quote_safe":true,"word_count":199,"url":"https://anthroposophy.ai/v1/steiner/de/ga/63/1914-04-23/p008"}],"english":["GA 63/1914-04-23/p008"],"method":"identity","confidence":"high","correspondence":"established","length_check":{"de_words":199,"en_words":212,"ratio":1.07,"partial":false},"pairing_state":"verified","verified":true,"evidence":["length","meaning","audit"]},"witness_completeness":{"ratio":1.03,"band":"comparable","note":null,"word_count":9309,"original_word_count":9008,"may_be_abridged":false},"witness_quality":{"translator":{"scope":"unit","status":"recorded","translator":"Steiner Online Library","identified_edition":"eLib2015","book_title":"Spiritual Science as a Life's Work","publisher":null,"publisher_inferred":false,"match_score":1.0,"source_url":"https://www.rsarchive.org/Lectures/GA063/English/eLib2015/19140423p01.html","evidence":"lecture_page_line"},"entity_parity":{"status":"ok","checked_against":["GA 63/1914-04-23/p008"],"missing_from_translation":[],"present_only_in_translation":[],"bead_confidence":"high","note":"Every load-bearing name in the German counterpart appears in this English passage.
