Often, when one wants to penetrate it, one will say: What remedy do you have for this illness, which one for that one? And often spiritual science is asked to provide remedies. Certainly, spiritual science will also reveal what real, concrete remedies are; but one must understand that it does not only want to indicate this or that remedy, but that it gives itself above all. Only it is not always accepted with understanding. What spiritual science can say when asked for a method of healing is the answer: Take me myself, then you will feel my healing powers! But this is inconvenient for some who are often looking for something completely different. — Of course, it would be trivial to object that spiritual science could not help some who were engaged in it and who died early or were afflicted by this or that illness. For one would first have to prove the opposite: that someone who, with the help of spiritual science, lived to the age of 45 would perhaps have lived only to the age of 35 or 40 without it. Methods of refutation are often not so easy.","text_trust":"verbatim","quote_safe":true,"title":"12. Die Methoden der Widerlegung sind oft nicht so leicht.","text_trust":"verbatim","quote_safe":true,"word_count":214,"url":"https://anthroposophy.ai/v1/steiner/de/ga/63/1914-04-23/p016"}],"english":["GA 63/1914-04-23/p016"],"method":"identity","confidence":"high","correspondence":"established","length_check":{"de_words":214,"en_words":218,"ratio":1.02,"partial":false},"pairing_state":"verified","verified":true,"evidence":["length","meaning","anchors","audit"]},"witness_completeness":{"ratio":1.03,"band":"comparable","note":null,"word_count":9309,"original_word_count":9008,"may_be_abridged":false},"witness_quality":{"translator":{"scope":"unit","status":"recorded","translator":"Steiner Online Library","identified_edition":"eLib2015","book_title":"Spiritual Science as a Life's Work","publisher":null,"publisher_inferred":false,"match_score":1.0,"source_url":"https://www.rsarchive.org/Lectures/GA063/English/eLib2015/19140423p01.html","evidence":"lecture_page_line"},"entity_parity":{"status":"ok","checked_against":["GA 63/1914-04-23/p016"],"missing_from_translation":[],"present_only_in_translation":[],"bead_confidence":"high","note":"Every load-bearing name in the German counterpart appears in this English passage.
