For in what he admits, in the training of thought, the spiritual world is found. In thinking, man is already clairvoyantly immersed in the spiritual world, except that instead of living thinking, he receives thinking that is merely a reflection. Therefore, I can again express the comparison that has already been described many times. When one stands before a mirror image, one experiences oneself inwardly, but one experiences oneself in such a way that the mirror provides the image. Everything is in the mirror, except that it provides the dead image that is not experienced. It is as if one could conjure away the mirror image and now experience the whole pictorially within oneself. This is how it is when, in thinking, one departs from one's pictorial nature, which really relates to the experienced thinking like the reflection, and passes over to the experience of thinking itself. As I said, the spiritual worlds creep into thinking. The I, the deeper I, the spectator living within us, creeps into the inwardly formed world of the will in the manner described.","text_trust":"verbatim","quote_safe":true,"title":"4. Das eigene Ich, das tiefere Ich, der in uns lebende Zuschauer schleicht sich also in die in der geschilderten Weise innerlich durchbildete Welt des Wollens hinein.","text_trust":"verbatim","quote_safe":true,"word_count":196,"url":"https://anthroposophy.ai/v1/steiner/de/ga/65/1915-12-10/p022"}],"english":["GA 65/1915-12-10/p022"],"method":"identity","confidence":"high","correspondence":"established","length_check":{"de_words":196,"en_words":197,"ratio":1.01,"partial":false},"pairing_state":"verified","verified":true,"evidence":["length","reader"],"reader_german":["GA 65/1915-12-10/p022"]},"witness_completeness":{"ratio":1.04,"band":"comparable","note":null,"word_count":11977,"original_word_count":11532,"may_be_abridged":false},"witness_quality":{"translator":{"scope":"unit","status":"recorded","translator":"Steiner Online Library","identified_edition":"SOL2024","book_title":"From Central European Intellectual Life","publisher":"Steiner Online Library","publisher_inferred":true,"match_score":1.0,"source_url":"https://www.rsarchive.org/Lectures/GA065/English/SOL2024/19151210p01.html","evidence":"lecture_page_line","publisher_note":"The publisher is inferred from the edition code in this lecture's source URL, not stated by the source page.
