He then lives in such a way that he is trustingly devoted to the flow of existence, trusting that wisdom reigns in existence and that flowing wisdom will make him ever more mature. With such words, I would like to begin by suggesting the mood that is important for the spiritual researcher. Much depends on his having a sacred reverence for the truth, on his feeling that he must first become more and more mature in order to be allowed to approach it. And it becomes an inner necessity for him to immerse everything he has to do with his soul in the mood I have just described. Not that I want to claim, dear audience, that such a mood must be artificially created, that it should be imposed on those who want to become spiritual researchers. No, it arises quite naturally when one does what is necessary for the soul to find its true essence. How is this to be done? — I can only briefly outline the principle; you will find the details in my book “How to Know Higher Worlds” and “An Outline of Esoteric Science” in the second part, or, with regard to very specific details, in one of my most recent writings: “The Threshold of the Spiritual World.”","text_trust":"verbatim","quote_safe":true,"title":"20.
