And spiritual research today must step before this temporal firmament of birth or conception and death, just as Giordano Bruno stepped before the spatial firmament, and say: Behind birth and death lies the spiritual world, life poured out in time, embedded in infinite repetitions of earthly life, forwards and backwards, like the infinite worlds to which Giordano Bruno once pointed.
