He actually wanted to hear the sermon on Sunday; but he came too late. What happened? Because the pastor had already delivered the sermon, they showed him the young boy, the nine-year-old boy in the blue farmer's coat, who at first behaved awkwardly, but then, when he saw what they wanted from him, came to life and now the whole sermon, which he had listened to as a nine-year-old boy, had listened to as a nine-year-old boy, and he now recites it word for word to the neighbor of the estate, so that everything he said comes from his soul – he had connected with the innermost view of his soul with what he had just heard, and so he could let it flow out again from the innermost. Thus he lived a spiritual life in the immediacy of his own being. Thus he was prepared to find in Fichte the world picture of German idealism, which was able to flow to him, I might say, admittedly from a certain one-sided point of view, but still from a genuinely German one.","text_trust":"verbatim","quote_safe":true,"title":"10. Er wollte eigentlich die Predigt am Sonntag hören; allein er kam zu spät. Was geschieht? So war er vorbereitet, Fichte, zu finden das Weltbild des Deutschen Idealismus, dasjenige, was ihm - ich möchte sagen - allerdings von einem gewissen einseitigen Gesichtspunkte her, aber doch von einem echt deutschen Gesichtspunkte her erfließen konnte.","text_trust":"verbatim","quote_safe":true,"word_count":186,"url":"https://anthroposophy.ai/v1/steiner/de/ga/70b/1916-02-19/p039"}],"english":["GA 70b/1916-02-19/p039"],"method":"length","confidence":"high","correspondence":"established","length_check":{"de_words":186,"en_words":202,"ratio":1.09,"partial":false},"pairing_state":"proposed","verified":false},"witness_completeness":{"ratio":1.04,"band":"comparable","note":null,"word_count":14379,"original_word_count":13871,"may_be_abridged":false},"witness_quality":{"translator":{"scope":"unit","status":"recorded","translator":"Steiner Online Library","identified_edition":"SOL2024","book_title":"Ways to a Knowledge of the Eternal Forces of the Human Soul","publisher":"Steiner Online Library","publisher_inferred":true,"match_score":1.0,"source_url":"https://www.rsarchive.org/Lectures/GA070b/English/SOL2024/19160219p01.html","evidence":"lecture_page_line","publisher_note":"The publisher is inferred from the edition code in this lecture's source URL, not stated by the source page.
